HoR passes anti-usury bill
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 16: The House of Representatives has passed the anti-usury bill today.
The House of Representatives (HoR) has unanimously endorsed the Bill to Amend some Nepal Acts related to Civil Code-2080 BS.
The HoR endorsed the anti-usury bill in a bid to solve the loan-sharking problem
The proposal seeking endorsement of the Bill originated in the National Assembly was presented by Minister of Law, Justice and Parlimentary Affairs, Dhanraj Gurung in Sunday's meeting itself.
