Song Darshan Salam which has also been noted as trending:1 on YouTube channel for a long, is a folk-based romantic dance number on his fusion tune, also included in the Crore club song having above 23 million YouTube viewers. The simple but unique lyrics of lyricist Rajendra Thapa, the catchy music composition of Dipak, the music arrangement of Uday Raj Poudel, and the singing of David Shankar and Sahima Shrestha have placed the song at

an outstanding level.

Dipak has established his studio in Anamnagar. He makes filmmakers and teammates feel proud of their work. His dreams turned into reality when filmmakers offer him good remuneration for his composition

one after another.

Dipak was lured by modern songs with a folk flavor when he was at school, but he devoted himself to filmy songs when he was a teenager. Dipak started his musical career by composing a folk tune for the folk song ‘Dhalke Pipal'. He has given melodies for over a thousand songs of the folk-modern genre. However, he is popularly known for composing songs for Nepali hit movies. Some of his most popular filmy songs are ‘Dekhana Champa", ‘Pahilo Number Ma’, ‘Timro Picture Hit’,

and ‘Pirim Nalaune’.

He honed his skills through formal musical training with Narahari Premi. He was trained by music experts Guru Dev Kamat, Kishwor Gurung, Rajkumar Malakar, and Ram Sitaula. He is inspired by Gopal Yonjan and motivated by Narahari Premi.

Having learned with such musicians from Nepali mainstream music, Dipak grips the accent on his compositions from far west Nepal and the accent of ethnic people while playing the guitar. He chooses catchy, easy, but unique songwriting for notable voices. Dipak understands the market and creates music to present to the audience, so his music compositions are popular among listeners.

Dipak, having a mix of introvert and extrovert personalities, has worked with the legends and new commerce. However, his hit movie songs are written mostly by Rajendra Thapa. The collaboration with lyricist Thapa who is giving one after another hit song from six decades, has enabled him to get lyrics as he wanted. He has formed partnerships with Deep Shrestha, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Rajesh Payal Rai, Anju Panta, Shworoop Raj, Satya Raj Acharya, Loreto Singh, Pramod Kharel, Shiva Pariyar, Melina Rai, and Hemanta Sharma. He holds the opinion that a hit song is the result of a well-balanced combination of lyrics, music, and singing. Likewise, Dipak has composed music to the lyrics of Kiran Kharel, Chhetra Pratap Adhikari, Rajendra Thapa, Ananda Adhikari, Dr. Krishna Hari Baral, Buddha Bir Lama, Dr. Naba Raj Lamsal and Ramesh Dahal.

Dipak has dozens of songs in his music composition that have received billions of YouTube views, in addition to Darshan Salam. Pirim Nalaune, Parkha Parka Mayalu, Pahilo Numberma, Balakhaima, Ye Hai Maya, Maya Jadau, Arko Juni Khai Kunni, Phul Phuleko Ban, Dekhana Champa, and Pachhi Pachhi Layer are examples of hit songs

on his credits.

The success has driven him forward in such a way that he has never looked back.
