BY OUR CORRESPONDENT,Tanahun, July 3: Bil Bahadur Shrestha, 81, of Kiriyapani in Byas Municipality-6, has been waiting for his son Yam Kumar Shrestha for the past 12 years.

Shrestha, who has been bedridden for a year, is distressed in memory of his son. With a bad health condition, he has been living in the hope that he will be able to see and meet his son before dying.

Yam Kumar, who went for foreign employment 12 years ago, has lost contact with the family. He had gone to Oman for the job and only called his family once informing them that he had reached Oman. Since then, the family had not received a single call from Oman.

His brother Sagar said that they were still waiting for Yam to return home. He informed that earlier Yam had also been to Qatar and Dubai as a migrant worker.  During those times, Yam had frequently contacted the family, he said.

Sagar said that the health condition of his father had worsened worrying about Yam all the time.
