Dhankuta organising career counseling fair

By Our Correspondent,Hile, June 15: Dhankuta Municipality in Dhankuta district is organising a Career Counseling and Employment Fair in the city which is located in the hills in eastern Nepal. 

Preparations for the fair to be organised on Saturday (June 17) have almost completed, the municipality informed at a press conference organised on Wednesday. 

There will be 15 exhibition stalls of industry/business, banks and financial institutions, tourism, hotel and other business being run in the municipality area. Mayor of the municipality, Chintan Tamang, informed that six areas of topics related to employment including local products are included in the fair. 

The programme is going to be held under the programme of ‘Skill for Respectable Employment Project II’, implemented with an agreement between the governments of Nepal and Switzerland. 

Counseling services and information related to skill development, skill training institutions, and employment will be provided at the fair. 

There will be an opportunity of making direct contact among the employers, job seekers and job management companies. Likewise, local products will also be displayed at the fair while local artistes will perform cultural and musical activities.
