852 new cases, 328 recoveries in 24 hrs

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 17: As many as 852 persons have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 531 persons were found infected through the PCR tests of 3876 while 321 persons were found infected through the antigen test of 2507 persons.

In the meantime, 328 persons got over the virus infection.

The number of active cases has reached 5462 in Nepal to date, according to the MoHP.

Meanwhile, 189,767 persons were administered the vaccines against COVID-19.
