Man injured by wild boar in Baitadi
By Our Correspondent,Baitadi, July 25: A man was injured in a wild boar attack in Ward No. 3 of Pancheshwor Rural Municipality of Baitadi district on Saturday. The injured individual has been identified as 38-year-old Madan Singh Saud, a local.
Saud was attacked by the wild boar while he had entered his maize field to chase away the animal. He has sustained injuries on his face and back.
Saud was rushed to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment. The hospital referred him to Seti Provincial Hospital after his treatment was not possible there.
Wild boars have been entering and destroying crops and yields of farmers across Baitadi district.
