Kathmandu, July 25: Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has urged to be involved unitedly in the work of development and construction. While inaugurating the newly constructed 'Pako Park' in Godawari Municipality-12, Thecho, Lalitpur, Sunday, she said that since development is a continuous process, everyone's solidarity is necessary.
Minister Bhusal said, "We should play a coordinating role in development work with a vision. Even though we ask for votes in the name of different parties during the election, we must have one voice in the work of development. We are always united in the work of the people." She expressed her confidence that the park built in public land will help in the improvement of the lifestyle of the local residents.
Emphasising that the park built for the convenience of the residents of Thecho should be properly protected and utilised, Minister Bhusal said, "The local residents are responsible for the proper protection and enjoyment of this park."
The infrastructure needed for physical exercise has been developed in the park, which was built at a cost of more than Rs. 7.5 million. On the occasion, Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Rajkaji Maharjan informed that the park has been constructed to be suitable for physical exercise and children. He said that an appropriate arrangement of CCTV and electric lights will be made so that the park can be used 24 hours a day. In the programme, Jagat Bahadur Maharjan, Chairman of Ward No. 12, said that they have received significant support from the federal and provincial governments for the development of the ward.
