Mukun Bhusal, Benisha Hamal will be in Bijuli Chapter 1

By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, July 16: Making of a movie christened as Bijuli Chapter 1 was officially announced in the capital on Friday. 

Actors Mukun Bhusal, Benisha Hamal and Kalu Rana have signed contracts for the film being produced under the banner of Basuki Films, while the rest of the cast is yet to be selected, informed the film unit. 

Luna KC is the producer of the movie written and directed by Bikas Giri, as his debut. 

The first poster of the movie was also released amid a programme organised to announce the movie. The poster design of the movie has been done by Royal Bhimsen. The production team is aiming to start shooting of the film from the second week of September.  The cinematography of the film will be directed by Hari Ghale Lama.

 Writer and director Giri said that the second part of the film, which is based on the story of representative characters of four Yugas Satya, Treta, Dwapar and Kali, will also be made.

 The film will be based on the modern adaptation of characters from a Hindu scripture, the director said. The film is being made by incorporating the characters of the Hindu scriptures Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagwat Geeta.

Actor Mukun Bhusal said that he has to work hard for his role. Bhusal said that the audience will find a lot of difference in the work he is doing so far, in terms of his looks and role in the new film.

 Actress Benisha Hamal said that she was very happy to work with a team that wanted to offer something new to the Nepali film industry.
