Myagdi section of Beni-Jomsom road blocked

Myagdi, May 23: The traffic along the Myagdi section of the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road has been completely disrupted since Saturday evening after trees fell onto the roadway at Begkhola in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-1, Myagdi.     

Vehicles traveling to Mustang from Beni and heading towards Beni from Jomsom are halted on the road following the disruption on the Myagdi section, according to the District Police Office, Myagdi.     

The disruption has affected local residents as well as tourists and pilgrims traveling to Muktinath Temple in Mustang.     

Sagar Timilsina, the Information Officer at the DPO, Myagdi, informed that efforts are underway to reopen the blocked road using equipment of the Department of Roads and security personnel and labourers.(RSS)
