Emily In Paris to end with season 6

Agencies,New York, May 23: Netflix has officially announced that its popular series ‘Emily in Paris’ will conclude after its sixth season. The news came as shooting for the final season begins in Greece, marking the start of the show’s farewell chapter.

The comedy-drama follows Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, an American marketing executive who moves to Paris for work. The show explores her professional challenges, friendships, and romantic relationships while adapting to life in a new country. Since its release, the series has become one of Netflix’s most recognisable global hits, appreciated for its light storytelling, fashion, and Parisian backdrop.

Netflix had already renewed the series for a sixth season in January, shortly after season five ended. In that season, Emily made an important life choice by returning to Paris after briefly opening a marketing office in Rome. The season also showed changes in her personal life, including the beginning and end of a new romantic relationship.

Series creator Darren Star said the story has always focused on Emily’s emotional journey and her connection to Paris.

 He said that Emily eventually realises Paris is where her heart truly belongs and that her stay there is not temporary. He also thanked the cast, crew, and fans for supporting the series throughout its run.

Lily Collins also shared a message announcing the final season, saying it will include everything fans love about the show. She added that the team is working hard to deliver a meaningful and entertaining conclusion to Emily’s story.

Over the years, Emily in Paris has remained highly popular on Netflix, regularly appearing in the platform’s global top 10 English-language series list. 

According to Netflix data, the series has recorded around 250 million views between 2023 and 2025, showing its strong worldwide audience.

The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media. 

Alongside other Netflix series such as The Lincoln Lawyer and The Night Agent, which are also expected to end with upcoming seasons, Emily in Paris is now moving towards its final chapter. Fans are expecting an emotional and stylish ending to Emily’s journey in Paris.
