NC wins Bhimdutta and Punarbas
Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Padam Bogati has won the mayoral post in Bhimdutta municipality of Kanchanpur. He secured 15,882 votes to win the election to the post. His close contender CPN-UML's Mahesh Prasad Pant got 6,141 votes.
17 candidates in local levels of Nuwakot got nil vote
2,001 candidates were in the fray for the 664 seats in different local levels in Nuwakot in the local poll held on May 13.
