Ruling parties' leaders discuss policy, programme for upcoming FY

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 22: The top leaders of the ruling five parties have discussed the policy and programme of the government for the upcoming fiscal year.

Govinda Pariyar, press coordinator of the Prime Minister, informed that the leaders also reviewed the local level election held on May 13.

Present in the meeting were Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, also Nepali Congress president, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party national council Chair Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, among leaders of the other parties.

Vice-chairperson of the National Planning Commission Dr. Bishwa Nath Paudel and chief secretary Shankar Das Bairagi also attended the meeting.

The policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year is scheduled to be tabled at the joint meeting of the federal parliament on May 24.
