PM Shah expresses gratitude to leaders of India and Pakistan, pledges cooperation

Kathmandu, March 28: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of India and the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, and expressed his commitment to work together to further strengthen the close bilateral relations.     

Prime Minister Shah expressed his gratitude through social media for the congratulatory messages he received separately from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.     

"Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for your kind words and warm wishes. I am eager to work closely with you to advance the multifaceted relations between our two countries for the common prosperity of our people," Prime Minister said in his response to the congratulatory message from the Indian Prime Minister.     

Likewise, Prime Minister Shah has thanked the Honourable President of Pakistan for the warm words of felicitations. "I reciprocate Your Excellency’s sentiments and reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening our relations with Pakistan in the spirit of friendship and good neighbourliness."     

He has also thanked Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif for his warm greetings and said he looked forward to working together to further strengthen bilateral relations and regional cooperation.(RSS)
