HoR meeting adjourned till Wednesday

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 8: The meeting of the House of the Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned as the opposition parties kept obstructing the proceedings.

The meeting will resume at 1 pm on Wednesday.

General secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, issued a notice that the HoR meeting was adjourned owing to a special reason.

The notice reads, "This notice has been issued to inform the honourable members that the right honourable Speaker has determined that the HoR meeting for 1 pm, Wednesday, 9 June 2026 in line with the HoR Regulations, 2083 BS, Rule 6 (3)."

Before the notice was issued, the HoR meeting was halted for 15 minutes as the opposition lawmakers continued with House obstruction.
