NC's Parliamentary Awareness Program for MPs

Patan (Lalitpur), March 28: The Nepali Congress has organized a Parliamentary Awareness Program for the newly elected members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.     

Under the program, which began at the party office in Sanepa today, MPs will be oriented about parliamentary practice and other relevant topics.     

Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, Vice Presidents Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal, General Secretaries Pradeep Poudel and Gururaj Ghimire are the trainers for the orientation, shared Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal.     

In the March 5 House of Representatives elections, a total of 18 NC candidates were elected through the first-past0the-post (FPTP) and 20 from the proportional representation (PR) system. Similarly, there are nine newly elected members of the Congress in the National Assembly.(RSS)
