Four dead in jeep accident in Makawanpur

By Ram Mani Dahal, Hetauda, May 22: Four persons have been killed in a pickup van accident near the Kulekhani dam area located at Indrasarowar Rural Municipality Ward no. 2 in Makawanpur district.

Four others have been injured.

Of the dead, three died while being brought for treatment to a hospital in Hetauda while one seriously injured died while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.

The jeep with registration no Na 4 Cha 2315 that collided Saturday evening was heading to Kathmandu from Birgunj.

Tek Bahadur Karki, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the Makawanpur district police office, said that of the four injured, three including the driver of the jeep are undergoing treatment in Kathmandu while a person is receiving treatment at a hospital in Hetauda.
