Local polls: final results announced for 706 levels
Final vote counts of the recent local-level elections have been completed at 706 local levels, out of 753, across the country According to the Election Commission, the local levels reporting the final vote count results make up 93.94 percent of the total numbers.
Local Level Election: NC wins 311, UML in 188, MC in 120 seats out of 701
The results of 701 local levels have been made public so far under the local level election 2079.

Kathmandu, May 21: With 11 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Saturday, the nation's novel coronavirus tally has reached 979,062.In 1,819 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 11 persons were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday.Likewise, the virus infection was detected in zero people in 1,211 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.Currently, there are 148 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation of which, no patients are admitted to institutional isolation while 148 patients are placed in home isolation.Meanwhile, 12 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in institutional isolation or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 966,962 cases of recovery, and the recovery rate is at 98.8 per cent.No fatality related to COVID-19 was recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP. So far, Nepals' COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,952.
