Passing through Tanahun, Syangja and Palpa, the trek covered approximately 207 kilometres before reaching Jitgadhi on the 11th day.

Upon arrival, a victory celebration was held featuring local processions and a variety of cultural performances.

Organised to preserve history and promote nationalism, patriotism and national unity, the trek saw notable public participation throughout the journey.

The Nepali Army said the initiative aims to safeguard and promote Nepal’s historical heritage, particularly forts, battle routes and other sites of national importance, while reviving the trail used by late King Prithvi Narayan Shah during Nepal’s unification campaign.
