Two killed in Jajarkot road mishap

By Sahadev Basnet, Jajarkot, Jan 9:Two died when a jeep met with an accident in Jajarkot district.

Locals have informed that a jeep accident occurred at a place called Naurighat while en route from Ghogi to Thalah in Chhedagad Municipality-8 of the district.

District Coordination Committee Jajarkot member and local Khadka Bahadur Buda said that 25-year-old Raju Adhikari and 65-year-old Nandakala Adhikari of the same place died in the accident.

There were five passengers on board, including the driver in the jeep. Two passengers and the driver have sustained injuries.

DSP of the District Police Office, Jajarkot, Basanta Kumar Sharma, said that the Police rushed to the scene immediately after locals reported the death of two people and the injuries to others.

Details of the incidents yet to be ascertained", he said.
