Printing of sample ballot papers begins

Kathmandu, Jan 8: The Election Commission (EC) has started printing sample
ballot papers for the election to the members of the House of Representatives
(HoR) scheduled for March 5.
A total of a million such
ballot papers have been printed at Janak Education Materials Center Limited in
Bhaktapur.
Similarly, printing of ballot
papers for the category of proportional election system is to begin from
tomorrow.
The ballot papers will
be white in color while the election symbols will be printed black on it, and
10 per cent more ballot papers than the number of total voters will be printed.
There will be about 20 million ballot papers.
