NC finalises candidates for NA election

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 7: Nepali Congress has finalized the list of candidates for the election for the member for National Assembly (NA) today.   

Central Work Performance Committee in the today’s meeting has approved the list of the candidates recommended by the parliamentary committee. 

According to the Chief- Secretary of the party, Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting of the parliamentary committee took decision with regard to the nomination of candidate today and the central work performance committee has approved it. 

The candidates for the National Assembly election to be held in 25 January recommended are Sunil Bahadur Thapa (other) from Koshi Province, Dharmendra Paswan (Dalit), Ranjit Karna (differently abled/minority), Gita Devkota from Bagmati Province (Women), Jagat Timilsina (other) from Gandaki Province. 

Basudev Jangali (Differently abled/minority) and Chandra KC (other), Lalit Jung Shahi (other) from Karnali Province, Khama Bahadur Khati (other) from Sudurpaschim Province.
