NC to hold general convention on 11 -14 May

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 2: Nepali Congress has decided to hold its general convention from 11 to 14 May in Kathmandu.

A meeting of the central working committee modified the previously published working schedule and passed the new action plan for the general convention that is being held from May 11 to May 14. The meeting was held in the party’s central office at Sanepa in Lalitpur today. 

The new working schedule was presented in the central working committee meeting by the acting president of the NC, Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Leaders of the party,  Bimalendra Nidhi, said that the proposed action plan has been passed by the meeting. He argued that the meaning of the special convention came to an end on December 1.

Earlier, NC had endorsed the working plan for the general convention for February 10, 11 and 12.
