Kathmandu, Jan 1: The investigation commission formed to probe the issues related to the September 8 and 9 Gen-Z Movement today lifted its prior decision to impose a travel ban on the then Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
Commission's Section Officer Resham Budha Chhetri said that the decision of travel restriction, which barred Lekhak from travelling abroad and from leaving the Kathmandu Valley without approval from the Commission, was lifted after a meeting of the Commission held today.
The Commission has also written to the Ministry of Home Affairs after the lift on travel restriction on Lekhak and has informed the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of General Affairs and General Administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal Police Headquarters and Lekhak himself.
Regarding the Gen-Z Movement, Lekhak had recorded his statement some days ago. (RSS)
