Laukahi shooting incident: Probe committee to be formed

By Jay Krishna Yadav, Inaruwa, Jan 1: An agreement to form probe committee into the killing of Jay Shah has been reached following an all sides discussion on Laukahi incident.

The district administration office and the victim side reached the five-point agreement.

The locals have been staging protest and causing disruption of the vehicular movement at Laukahi, Koshi Rural Municipality-1 in Sunsari district along the East-West Highway following death of the 45-year-old Jay Shah, who was shot dead near the APF Base Camp BOP, Laukahi on Wednesday night.

According to the agreement, the district administration will facilitate for the family member, wife or children, of the deceased to get employment.

The agreement makes it clear that Say shot dead by the APF personnel.
