Kathmandu, Dec 31: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has clarified that the government has not imposed any interference on the private sector.
He claimed that the government however has enabled environment for the state and government agencies to perform in an independent and professional manner.
At a programme on 'Collaborative initiative for peace stability and prosperity' organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) today, Minister Kharel emphasized the need to keep private sector secured.
The country could not move ahead without putting protection of private sector on the priority, Minister Kharel, also the government spokesperson, said. "Private sector could in no way be overlooked to advance the socialism-oriented system of governance", Kharel noted.
He also took the opportunity to express the government's commitment to create enabling atmosphere for industry, trade and business.
Claiming that the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election has been assured, the communication minister said the government has advanced the election process without any hiccups. (RSS)
