First Kawasoti Gold Cup kicks off today

Triveni (Nawalparasi), Dec 20: The first Kawasoti Gold Cup football tournament-2082, begins today at Danda in Kawasoti Municipality-16, Nawalparasi.

The inaugural match will be played between Gandaki Police Club and host team Kawasoti 'A', said Tej Narayan Aryal, chair of the organizing club, Sunlight Community Development Center, promoted. The tournament is supported by Kawasoti Municipality and coordinated by Kawasoti Municipality-16 and Nawalpur District Football Association. 

A total of 12 teams from across the country are participating in the tournament. 

The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 301,000, while the runner-up team will receive a cash prize of Rs 150,000. Similarly, the two teams that enter the semi-finals will be given Rs 25,000 each, shared Tej Bahadur KC, the financial coordinator of the game. The final match will be held on December 31. (RSS)
