Enchanting Gotamkot (Photo Feature)

blog

By Bishal Sunar, Rukum (West), Nov 21: Gotamkot, a paradise in Rukum (West) that makes anyone who visits never want to return back.

After climbing a little, the view of the flat, fertile land stretches as far as the eye can see, with sturdy houses nestled in each other's embrace, not just courtyards but also gardens, and rooftops that look alike.

Gotamkot, which is still adorned with its original decoration, is uniquely attractive in contrast to other villages that have been modernized with connection to roadways.

The sight of neat houses, roofed with stone or slate, aligned like the peaks of mountains, is enough to enchant anyone.

Most of the traditional houses, fields, and settlements, like the interlocking ridges, are enticing.

Gotamkot is a village with original traditional stone-roofed houses located in wards 5 and 6 at Aathbiskot Municipality , Rukum (West), Karnali Province. It is the birthplace of the Gautam and Gotame clans.
