Janakpurdham, Oct 30: Sixteen children have been rescued from different parts of India and handed over to the related families in Madhes Province.
The Nepali children trafficked to various places of Bombay, Delhi and Bihar cities in India were rescued with the help of an Indian charity, 'Kin India'. They were handed over to the related family members in the presence of officiating secretary at Ministry of Sports and Social Welfare of Madhes Province, Ranjit Yadav.
The rescued children are originally from Mahottari, Dhanusha, Siraha, Rautahat and Saptari districts, according to Madhes Province coordination officer of the National Child Rights Council, Sanjiv Mahato. The Kin India rescued them in cooperation with Indian police persons. (RSS)
