Kathmandu, Oct 19: 'Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund' that was established by the government for the reconstruction of physical structures damaged from arson and vandalism during Gen-Z protest occurred on Sept 8 and 9 has received Rs 61 million so far.
According to Spokesperson of the Finance Ministry, Tanka Prasad Pandey, Rs 61 million has been deposited in the fund till this morning.
The government had requested to general people, private sector, Non-Resident Nepalis, development partners, donor agencies to contribute to the fund.
A bank account has been opened at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Singha Durbar branch for reconstruction fund. One can contribute to the government's campaign by depositing support amount at account number 1960102070004.
Preparation was underway to release the details of contributors, according to the Finance Ministry. (RSS)
