BY OUR CORRESPONDENT,Manang, Oct. 14: Comedian and actor Manoj Gajurel has completed a trek to Tilicho Lake, the world’s highest-altitude lake, in a bid to promote domestic tourism. Uniquely, Gajurel undertook the journey using a bicycle.

Gajurel, who reached the lake with a five-member team, said he was deeply moved by the serenity and purity of Tilicho at a time when the nation is caught in political and social uncertainty. He said he was captivated by the grandeur of the Annapurna mountain range.

According to him, Tilicho’s natural charm remains as strong as ever, attracting a continuous flow of visitors even amid political turbulence. He added that while the country is entangled in political storms, the people living beyond the mountains remain hopeful.

Gajurel said that like the calm and majestic Tilicho, the country’s political storms will one day settle, divided hearts will beat as one, society will regain harmony, and the fractured nation will unite under a single flag.
