By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 13: A case of cyber crime has been registered at the Cyber Bureau against Debendra Subedi, a former AIG of Nepal Police.
The secretariat of Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', coordinator of CPN (Maoist Center) general convention organising committee, lodged the case citing Subedi made baseless and totally wrong propaganda by alleging that some two trucks of Nepali rupees notes amounting to Rs. 20 million were carried away from Prachanda's residence just two days before the Gen Z protest on September 8.
The dissemination of fabricated material has spread rumour and resulted in character assassination of leader Prachanda, according to the secretariat.
By spreading ill intended propaganda through social media, Subedi has committed a cyber crime, said Prachanda's secretariat in the case filed at cyber bureau, as informed by secretariat.
