23 injured in Pokhara microbus accident

Lekhnath(Kaski), Aug 25: A microbus accident at Pokhara metropolis-13 earlier today has left 23 people injured.     

The vehicle, bearing registration number Ga 1 Kha 4027, was en route to Kahunkhola from Manidop of Arwa when it veered off the road on a slope and struck the right side of the roadway.     

According to an eyewitness and local Rabi Baral, the microbus lost control on the downhill stretch, leading to the accident.     

All the injured, including the driver, were rushed to Western Regional Hospital under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS).     

Of the 23 injured, 11 have already been discharged and sent home, while the remaining 12 are undergoing treatment, the PAHS said. (RSS)
