Seven injured when a van carrying students crashes in Baglung

By Nawaraj Nepali, Baglung (Galkot), Aug.22: Seven people have been injured when a van carrying students of Galkot Multiple Campus met with an accident on an internal road in Joikuti, Galkot Municipality-5, Baglung.

Van en route from Harichaur to Hatia, skidded seven meters off the road at around 7:45 AM on Friday, injuring seven people. 

The injured have been identified as van driver Mohan Singh Sunar, aged 25, Sushmita BK, aged 18, Pramila BK, aged 18, Jiwan Khatri, aged 18, Muna Gautam, aged 18, Anita Chhetri, aged 19, and Sunita Sapkota, aged 18.

According to the Area Police Office, Galkot, Baglung, all the injured students have been sent to Galkot Municipal Hospital, Baglung, for treatmen,t and their condition is normal.

A five-member police team, under the command of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Man Bahadur Karki, has been deployed to the scene.
