blog

Kathmandu, Aug 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that everyone should contribute from their side to the government's efforts to make the whole of Nepal prosperous.

Addressing the Sisnupani Nepal's programme titled 'Jurukk Karnali' today, Prime Minister Oli urged people to give equal importance to the positive efforts and development achieved. "This program is encouraging for the development of Karnali but the development and progress already made there were not discussed. "We have already built a university, a health institute, the Karnali corridor, a bailey bridge connecting Humla, a stadium, etc.," he said. "Karnali apples now find a market. Now, a blacktop road will also go to Humla. We all need to instill positivity and hope."

At the program held at the Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Prime Minister Oli reminded that Nepal is preparing to upgrade to a developing country by 2026. He assured that the government would give high priority to the development of Karnali.

“Those who made fun when I talked about exploration of gas and minerals may not see that methane gas reserves have been discovered in Dailekh, But now we will also move towards exporting Yarsagumba,” he said. “Unlike in the dark ages of autocratic monarchy, Karnali will get justice in a democratic republic. Nepal is being built and Karnali is being built.”(RSS)
