Lamsal appointed Managing Editor of TRN
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 21: Ramesh Kumar Lamsal has been appointed Acting Managing Editor of The Rising Nepal daily.
The management committee of the Gorkhapatra Corporation (GC) appointed him to the post effective from today.
Lamsal joined the daily in 1998 as Sub Editor and mainly covered business and economy for over a decade before he began coordinating the Friday Supplement of the daily.
He had also been handling the Copy-editing Desk since 2019. Currently, he is also working as Chief Reporter.
Born in Khotang district, Lamsal holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Tribhuvan University.
