IRGDD strengthens co-operation with garment and carpet industry leaders

Kathmandu, Aug.14: Ambassador Dr Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, President of the Ambassadors’ Club and the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD), together with co-founder Bimal Dhakal, welcomed Pashupati Dev Pandey, President of the Garment Association of Nepal, and Balram Gurung, President of the Carpet Association of Nepal, to the IRGDD premises.

The meeting focused on an engaging exchange of expert insights and practical ideas on ways of strengthening Nepal’s garment and carpet industries globally. 

Expanding market access, improving product competitiveness, and adapting to changes in international trade were discussed in the meeting. 

Ambassador Dr Dhakal expressed appreciation for both presidents’ valuable contributions, noting that their sectoral expertise is vital for advancing Nepal’s economic diplomacy. 

IRGDD remains committed to working closely with industry leaders, providing research-based recommendations and strategic guidance to promote sustainable growth and stronger international engagement.
