19 injured in Dailekh road mishap

By Yam Raj Bisata, Dailekh, July 25: 19 people have sustained injuries when a  Force Motors vehicle met with an accident in Dailekh. 

The force vehicle (Karnali Province 02 001 Ja 0046), en route from Surkhet to Jumla, met with an accident, according to the Dailekh District Police Office.

Chief of District Police Office Dailekh  Ganesh Bahadur Baral said that the vehicle bearing met with an accident near Lower Dungeshwor, Dullu Municipality-1, Dailekh.

He said that out of the 19 people on board in vehicle, 12 suffered minor injuries and 5 are seriously injured. Seriously injured people have been sent to Surkhet for further treatment.

Police said the vehicle overturned while trying to pick up passengers on an uphill slope and fell about 10 meters off the road into a ravine.

 Police said that an investigation into the incident is underway.
