Girl dies after being bitten by snake in Kapilvastu
By Narad Kohar, Taulihawa, July 17: A 14-month-old girl died after being bitten by a snake in Maharajgunj Municipality-2 of Kapilvastu district. The deceased has been identified as Sangita Paswan, daughter of Jhagru Paswan.
She was bitten by a snake while sleeping at home.
After some time, the girl became unconscious and was taken to the Bahadurganj Hospital for treatment.
She was brought to the Snake Bite Treatment Center in Gorusinghe for further treatment.
Naveen Bhandari, manager of the Kapilvastu Snake Bite Treatment Centre, said that she died on the way due to a delay in treatment
