One person dies, two others in critical condition after being electrocuted

Sarlahi, July 17: One person died and two others have been injured after being electrocuted in Lalbandi Municipality -1.

According to District Police Office spokesperson Saroj Rai, the truck's co-driver, Dinesh Paswan, aged 30, of Brindaban Municipality -7, Rautahat, died while removing the tarpaulin from a truck (Na 6 Kha 7550) that had come from Rautahat to collect rice husks from the New Maa Rajdevi Food Industry.

He died at the Namuna Hospital in Hariban after being seriously injured after being electrocuted while touching an 11,000-volt power transmission line.

Truck workers Kundan Paswan, aged 25, and Jageshwor Paswan, aged 40, were seriously injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
