Driver killed in tractor accident

By Bashu Dev Sharma, Jajarkot, July 14: A Tractor driver died while the co-driver sustained serious injury when a tractor en route from Phera Bazar of Bheri Municipality-10 to Chedachaur met with an accident on Monday morning. 

According to the Chief of the District Police Office, DSP Basanta Kumar Sharma, the tractor ( Karnali province 01002 Ta 0607 ) plunged off some 50 meters down the road near Aaligaun of Bheri Municipality-10, killing 20-year-old tractor driver Dhan Bahadur BK of Bheri Municipality-9 died on the spot. 

According to him, the body of the driver BK, who died along with the tractor, was recovered by a JCB of Bheri Municipality, as the body was crushed inside the tractor.

Information Officer of District Police Office  Police Inspector Hari Ram Dangi said that 15 year 15-year-old co-driver, Birendra Pariyar, sustained grave injuries. He is undergoing treatment at Jajaorkot Hospital. 

Police Inspector Dangi said that after the body, crushed by the tractor, has been recovered, and will be brought to Jajarkot Hospital for postmortem.
