Daunne road section blocked, road near Khursani River sinks

By Purushottam Subedi, Paschim Nawalparasi, July 9: The Daunne road section in Nawalparasi (West) along the East-West Highway has been completely blocked since Wednesday morning.

Additionally, traffic on this section has been brought to a standstill after the road near the Khursani River in Bardaghat-4 sank. 

Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi,  Birdutta Panta said that two-way traffic has been completely disrupted due to the landslide

As no alternative routes are available, passengers are urged to be patient until the road reopens.

Police said that it will take some time for the road to resume, although road repair work is ongoing. This has caused inconvenience for passengers and drivers traveling along this stretch of road.
