'Chalchitra conference' concludes

Kathmandu, July 8: The School of Arts under the Kathmandu University conducted a two-day 'Chalchitra Conference' in the federal capital, Kathmandu.

Chief of the Department of Language and Mass Communications in the university, Nirmal Mani Adhikari, informed that the event organized on July 5-7, targeted the students of arts and film to whet their knowledge and skill in the related sector.

"Every student needs to be equipped with relevant knowledge in addition to university class," he underlined. 

The conference received collaboration from the Nepal Film Reviewers' Society, the Nepal Film Directors' Society, and the Kathmandu Mountain Film Festival Foundation. 

Dialogues and interactions on 'festival films vs domestic market', 'visual language of Nepali cinema: strength and limitation' in addition to screening of short films were held during the conference. (RSS)
