By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 5: Kantipur City College (KCC), affiliated with Purbanchal University, organized a special program to launch the 10th edition of its Management Scholars Magazine.
According to the press release, the magazine, created by BBA students, was officially released on Saturday at the KCC Hall in Kathmandu. Chief Guest Bhawani Rana, former FNCCI President, along with Prof. Rama Krishna Regmi, Prof. Dr. Mahendra Singh, Indra Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary of Management Association of Nepal, Dr. Pralhad Karki, Managing Director of Kantipur City College and Principal Raju Kattel, jointly inaugurated the magazine.
Former FNCCI President and chief guest Bhawani Rana stated that the magazine prepared by the students would contribute to leadership development in the future. Similarly, Prof. Dr. Mahendra Singh remarked that the magazine has fostered creativity among students and that its content would broaden their knowledge. General Secretary of the Management Association of Nepal, Indra Kumar Shrestha, and Managing Director of KCC, Dr. Pralhad Karki, extended their best wishes for the continuity of the magazine and noted that it has played a role in developing new skills among students.
During the event, speakers highlighted how the magazine helps students apply what they learn in classrooms to real-life situations. Prof. Regmi said the magazine supports students in building their future careers. However, he also warned students not to fully depend on Artificial Intelligence (AI), saying that overuse of AI could reduce human skills. He advised students to use AI wisely, but always rely on their own thinking and creativity.
The theme of this year's magazine is “Tourism and AI.” It includes articles on AI in education, business ideas, and job skills. Guests praised the student's efforts and encouraged them to continue such projects to improve leadership, teamwork, and practical knowledge. On closing remarks Principal of Kantipur City College Raju Kattel said we are supporting to sharpen students soft skill, and requested for continuing of magazine publishing. Since 2005 AD Kantipur City College is running the BBA Program and recognized as pioneer institution in BBA Study. Students, Faculties, Lectures and journalist were participated in Inauguration Ceremony.
