PM awards winners of body building championship

Kathmandu, June 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has provided awards to the winners of the 'First Mister Metropolitan City Body Building Championship' on Saturday.     

Prime Minister Oli today awarded Rs. 500,000 and a trophy to Krish Maherjan, the winner of the championship organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City-22.     

In the event conducted in collaboration with Nepal Physical Bodybuilding and Fitness, winners of recent international bodybuilding competitions and sports sector contributors were honored.     

On this occasion, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that maintaining good health is a great asset, noting bodybuilding contributes to a healthy life. He urged everyone to pay attention to health as the main objective of the health policy is to make Nepal a disease-free nation.     

The Prime Minister also mentioned that the government has been providing cash awards to encourage athletes winning international competitions and make the country known worldwide.(RSS)
