Kathamdnu, June 20: The historic Trishul Jatra was held on Thursday in the premises of the Pashupatinath Temple.
This festival, called Machati Jatra in Nepalbhasa, is a special type of chariot kept at the Bachhaleshwor and Vajraghar temples in the Pashupati area, in which a child in the form of Kumar Ganesh is symbolically pierced with a trident and carried around by devotees.
Jayabageshwor has one Kumar and two Kumaris in his chariot.
