One held with 1.15kg of gold from TIA
Kathmandu, June 18: Police have arrested a person in possession of 1.15kg of gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Binod Ghimire, said that an Indian national, Minasurjeet Singh Khemani, 53, was arrested from the TIA. "Khemani had arrived in Kathmandu from Sharjah, UAE in the flight of the Air Arabia,"
The yellow metal was found wrapped with plastic in her possession, Spokesperson Ghimire said, adding that further investigation was underway.
She was held from the Tunnel Gate of arrival customs area.(RSS)
