Incessant rainfall obstructs highways

Kathmandu, June 18: The incessant rainfall that occurred at different places of the country has obstructed different highways, while limiting some to one-way traffic.     

According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the Araniko highway at Kodari of Bhotekoshi rural municipality-2, Larcha of Bhotekoshi-3 and Koplad of Bhotekoshi-2 in Sindhupalchowk have been completely obstructed.     

Similarly, Bheri corridor of Tripurasundari municipality-1 in Dolpa district and Gokuleshwor Khalanga highway at Mahakali municipality-5 in Darchula district have come to a standstill.     

Likewise, only one-way traffic is operational at Jumla-Mugu road section in Jumla district, Kaligandaki Corridor in Gulmi district and Rabi-Rake-Bhedetar road in Dhankuta district, added the Police headquarters.(RSS)
