Nepal is always a sovereign nation and remain so: PM Oli

Kavrepalanchowk, June 13: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asserted that Nepal is always a sovereign country and will always remain so.     

Addressing the 30th convocation ceremony of Kathmandu University at Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchowk today, Prime Minister Oli argued that Nepal had never been colonized. It is always a sovereign country and our ancestors saved the country with bravery.     

Also the Chancellor of the KU, he opined that now Nepal should add one more character on its identity that Nepal is also a country have skilled and capable human resources.     

"Nepal should be introduced as a country of honest, hardworking and decent people", he mentioned, adding we should establish Nepal as the country providing employment.     

Stating that the facts of the history have shown that Nepal is a researcher since earlier, Prime Minister Oli opined, "Our students and skilled human resources should involve in research and innovation."     

He wished the graduated students to move ahead resolving new challenges by putting the knowledge into their practice as learning is a never ending process.     

The Prime Minister mentioned, "Our doctors and nurses are doing excellent works in foreign countries. How it is possible if our country do not have quality education?"     

On the occasion, he presented medals and certificates to best students of different faculties.     

One thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine students under various faculties of KU were graduated on the occasion.(RSS)
