Ahmedabad traffic saves Bhumi Chauhan as she misses fateful AI flight by 10 minutes

Gujarat (India), Gujarat Samachar, June 13: Air India Flight AI-171, carrying 242 people, crashed on Thursday afternoon in Ahmedabad. Of all those on board, only one person survived the tragic incident.

Narrowly escaping the tragedy was Bhumi Chauhan from Bharuch, who was supposed to board the same flight to London. Due to heavy traffic in Ahmedabad while returning from Ankleshwar, she arrived at the airport just 10 minutes late and was denied entry at the gate.

She was going to London to meet her husband. She said that “When I heard about the crash, I was left trembling and speechless. I thank God for saving my life”. 

Her mother also expressed her immense relief and gratitude, saying, “I am grateful to God for saving my daughter from this horrific tragedy.”

Bhumi’s missed flight turned into a miraculous escape for her.
