Tennager dies after being electrocuted in Udayapur

 By Bhaktibilas Pokhrel, Gaighat, July 13: A teenage girl died after being electrocuted while working at a poultry farm in Belaka Municipality-5 of Udayapur district, at 9:30 AM on Friday.

Police said that 17-year-old Durga Karki, daughter of local Sanjiv Karki, died after being struck by a current on Friday morning.

According to the Superintendent of Police said that the District Police Office, Udayapur, Harihar Nath Yogi, she was electrocuted while working at a poultry farm near her home.

The teenager was immediately taken to the hospital after being found in despair by her relatives. 

Superintendent of Police Yogi said that the body of the deceased has been sent to the Municipal Hospital, Beltar, for postmortem.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
